spain

On the tarrace in spain, my last few days here before i am of to france and italy., making the most of the fresh local vegetables here. Everything goes by season so what's in the shop is what's available.

appleg

Put half an apple and fresh lemon thyme in the juice. tastes gorgeous, although could do with a little more apple. Apple is the only fruit that can healthily be added to a vegetable juice for flavour.

airy fairy

This juice was so light to drink, it's like lying on a grassy knoll and looking into the puffy white clouds, dreaming about hopping from one to the other. Again, the tomatoes mean that before every sip it needs a swirl, otherwise you end up with one hell of a caterpillar running along your upper lip. Being british, it just won't do to have that strong upper lip spoiled. hehe

de ja drunken

Couldn't resist it, the last one tasted too good. I added some leaves to give it extra flavour, and a little bit of ground black pepper. With this amount of vegetables i actually had enough for two glasses.

orangutango

This one tasted marvelous. I went to an arabic shop during siesta in spain and got fresh vegetables. Sure they don't look picture perfect like the ones in the supermarkets, but man they taste gorgeous. Look at the color, it's like looking at a sunset.

It's a green green world

Tasted a little watery, i think the green tomatoes make it very thin, they are essentially water. Great color though. Looks a bit alive when i first poured it, all the sediment was ruching down to the more interesting base of the glass. always needs a stir before each sip, otherwise you end up with an undewater ecosystem with an entire inbuild cloud production. "hold on there army of microby thingy's, no need to invade, it's all under control."

green, green, green.

bunny juice

This juice was a bit like crawling through a rain forest, there was loads of froth on the top which i had to wade through to get the juice.

Tried a local green tomato...quite hard but had a divine taste.

a fresh of breath air

And the ingridients...just take a look t the picture!
I was using a new not so good juicer, so it turned out more like a soup, but tastes good. The first juice in 2 days, its like going into the mountains and realizing that living in the city you've been inhaling sick disgusting air all the time.

The veggies prepared for the chop!

lost cause

tomato stuff, basil leaves, water, and a bunch of large company chemicals.
I know, i know, a pretty pathetique excuse for a vegetable drink, but "when on the road..." This is the only option i had. It smells great, but tastes like flavoured water.

hedge hog

2 beet roots, cucumber, red pepper. brilliant color, brilliant taste. I find beet roots always give a tangy aftetaste, like a hedgehog sitting in your throat and drinking tea, just tickling your patience sometimes. But its so damn healthy. (not the hedgehog)

bubblio

2 tomatoes, courgete, brocoli, celery, 2 carrots, and a sprinkle of chopped up basil leaves. The basil leaves really compliment the celery. It's like drinking water from a mountain stream and instead of smelling the flowers around you, you taste them. A very bubbly taste, full of surprises.

jungly

2 Carrots, 3 tomatoes, piece of celery, half a cucumber, yellow pepper. Quite a coctail of different vegetables. I think the color would look much nicer without the carrots, but man it tastes nice and sweet.

Peraple

2 apples, 3 cox apples, 1 massive pear. I know, I know, it's not strictly vegetable juice, but man it's so silky smooth, drop down gorgeous in taste. I skipped the veggie juice today...didn't get the time. tomorrow!

speciality del greenery

1 cucumber, celerly, mixed salad, 2 carrots and a few grapes just to calm down the flavour.
To be honest the taste didn't match up to how i had imagined, and the look, but it went down so smoothly. It's like drinking water but knowing the body is using every bit of goodness in the juice. i love the green color, it's like a vast deep ocean inside that drink.

A juice called Fred...(for no apparent reason)

3 tomatoes, 5 carrots, half a cucumber, and Celery. The celery gives it a fantastic vibrance and liveliness. For a touch of taste and goodness, i added half a lemon and a sprinkle of black pepper.

juice 1

4 carrots, beet root, red pepper, spinach, and about 9 beens.

So i tried something new, put beens in the juicer...worked, but i didn't taste any difference. I guess it's all good stuff.
